Our honest-mechanic rule
Every call starts the same way: a certified technician inspects your door and gives you a firm price for the repair, free of charge. If the repair makes sense, that's what we do. We only bring up replacement when fixing the door truly isn't worth your money, and we'll show you why before you spend a cent.
Decision guidance
We won't tell you to replace a door that can be fixed. These are the situations where a new door is genuinely the better call.
A bent frame, or multiple panels caved in or cracked beyond a clean patch. Past that point a repair won't hold, and the whole door needs to come out.
Parts get harder to find the older a door gets, and very old doors weren't built to today's safety standards. When repairs start costing more just to source parts, replacement is often the more honest answer.
One broken spring is a repair. A third breakdown on the same worn-out door in a year is a sign the door itself is done, and the repair bills are adding up faster than a new door would cost.
